From our Iselin base, most STAT pickups in Middlesex and Union counties are on the road within 30 to 60 minutes of the call. Farther out in Somerset, Mercer, or Monmouth, plan on 60 to 90. Dispatch gives you a real ETA when you call, not a range we hope for.
Yes. Most of our volume is scheduled: fixed daily or weekly lab runs, pharmacy routes, and inter-facility shuttles with set pickup windows. STAT and on-demand fill the gaps.
Every driver completes HIPAA privacy training and OSHA bloodborne pathogen training before their first run, with annual refreshers. They also pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
Validated coolers with phase-change packs for refrigerated (2 to 8 °C), insulated ambient carriers, and dry-ice shippers for frozen. Drivers log temperature at pickup and delivery. We can supply data loggers on request.
Each item is scanned at pickup, the sender signs, and the receiver signs at handoff. Time, GPS location, and names are recorded. You get a proof-of-delivery record by email, and we keep the log for audits.
Daily. We cross the Ben Franklin, Walt Whitman, and Betsy Ross bridges for lab, pharmacy, and hospital work. Philadelphia and the near suburbs are part of our standard coverage, not a special request.
Yes. A dispatcher answers the phone around the clock, every day of the year. Overnight STAT work is common for hospital labs and long-term care pharmacies, so we staff for it.
Scheduled routes are quoted as a flat rate per run or per month. STAT and on-demand are priced by zone and service level. No fuel surcharges hidden in the fine print. Ask for a rate sheet and we send it the same day.
Usually. For a standard lab or pharmacy route we need your pickup and drop addresses, windows, item types, and any temperature requirements. Most routes go live within two to five business days.
Sedans and small SUVs for specimen and Rx work, cargo vans for supply and equipment. All vehicles carry spill kits, sharps containers, and secondary containment. No motorcycles or bicycle couriers.
